Xortrix is a small, founder-led technology studio. We write code, ship products, and solve real engineering problems — for ourselves and for our clients.
Where this started
Xortrix grew out of years of building software — not managing it, not consulting on it, but actually writing it. Our founder is a software engineer who led the build of ITINE, an AI-powered travel itinerary platform — from the AI pipeline and serverless AWS backend to the web app and a React Native mobile app published on both app stores.
That experience shapes how we work. When you've debugged production issues at 2 AM, figured out why your LLM output is hallucinating costs, or optimized a cold-start Lambda that was ruining your user experience — you approach client work differently. You build with the awareness of what actually matters once real people start using the thing.
ITINE is one of several products we've built. We also delivered PointsWallah (a fintech platform) and CRM systems for banking clients. Now we're selectively taking on projects where a small, senior team makes more of a difference than a large one.
What we do best
We build custom web applications, mobile apps, AI-powered features, CRM platforms for financial institutions, and SMS-based solutions. Our stack spans Next.js, React Native, TypeScript, AWS serverless, Salesforce, Twilio, and whichever AI model actually fits the problem.
We work best with founders and small teams who know what they want to build but need a technical partner to make it happen. You bring the domain expertise and the product vision. We bring the architecture, the code, and the ability to ship.
If you need someone to run a three-month discovery phase and produce a 60-page document, we're probably not the right fit. If you need working software, we are.
Product builder, not agency
Most agencies sell process. We sell outcomes. The difference comes from having shipped our own products to app stores, dealt with real users, handled production incidents, and iterated based on actual usage data — not hypothetical personas.
There are no layers of project managers between you and the people writing the code. When you message us, you're talking to the engineer who's building your product. That means faster decisions, fewer misunderstandings, and software that reflects what you actually asked for.
We also know when to say no. Not every feature is worth building. Not every architecture decision needs to be future-proofed for a scale you haven't reached yet. We'll tell you what we think, and we'll explain why.
Based in India, working globally
We're based in India, which gives us meaningful time zone overlap with teams in the US, Europe, and APAC. Most of our clients are distributed themselves, so async communication is the default — supplemented by calls when it makes sense.
The location also means your budget goes further without compromising on quality. We charge for the work, not the zip code.
